COAG Standing Council on Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment
The Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Standing Council on Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment (SCOTESE) has been established.
The purpose of SCOTESE, as set out in its Terms of Reference, is to ensure that Australia’s current and future workforce needs are met through increased participation, educational attainment, skills development and skills use to achieve greater productivity. SCOTESE held its inaugural meeting on 25 November 2011.
